SINGLES MATCH –
“THE HUNK WITH THE TREE TRUNKS” CHASE GOSLING DEF. LA TARANTULA BY WAY OF PIN FALL

Still on the hunt for his first win in PPW, La Tarantula showed a lot of tenacity in his match against former two time PPW World Champion, Chase Gosling, but Chase was too much for the opposition and a running leg lariat added another notch in La Tarantula’s loss column.

SINGLES MATCH –
“EL MERO MERO” INIESTRA DEF. DAMIEN CHAOS BY WAY OF PIN FALL

In his debut match for Premier Pro Wrestling, Damien Chaos stepped into the ring to face former PPW World Champion, Iniestra. After being on the receiving end of offense for the majority of the matchup, Iniestra distracted the referee and when Damien pursued, Iniestra delivered a low kick to Damien’s groin where the referee could not see which allowed Iniestra to roll Damien up and, thanks to a handful of tights for added leverage, pick up a win over the newcomer.

SINGLES MATCH –
ANAKIN DEF. “THE WORLD EXCLUSIVE” MATT VINE BY WAY OF PIN FALL

An exciting exhibition match took place this past Saturday night when the hotshot Premier Academy standout, Anakin, took on his friend and the only three time World Champion in PPW history, Matt Vine. Anakin indeed had quite a mountain to climb being outmatched in nearly all aspects of size, strength, and experience, but it is difficult to argue that what Anakin lacks in those aspects, he makes up for with heart and determination and, thanks to that heart and determination, he shocked many in attendance when he was able to put Matt in a pinning predicament and utilize a bridge to pick up an impressive victory via pin fall. After the match, Anakin extended his hand to Matt in a show of sportsmanship, but debate goes on over whether or not a visibly disappointed Matt actually reciprocated or, in a moment of frustration, slapped Anakin’s hand out of the way as he left the ring.

SINGLES MATCH –
“THE HUNK WITH THE TREE TRUNKS” CHASE GOSLING DEF. SEM SEI BY WAY OF DISQUALIFICATION

Having knocked off La Tarantula in the evening’s opening contest, Chase Gosling had momentum on his side when he came to the ring for his second match of the night to square off against Sem Sei, but just when it seemed that Chase was closing in for the kill, Iniestra emerged from the locker room, entered the ring, and hit Chase across the back with a kendo stick, leading to the referee calling for the disqualification against Sem, but while he may have won the match, Chase was left reeling from the shot and many in attendance were left wondering what kind of potential damage may have been done to Chase during the attack.

SINGLES MATCH –
SKYE BLUE DEF. “SHREDDIN’” CONNOR CORR BY WAY OF PIN FALL

After having yet another victory stolen from her at #PPW187, Skye Blue got a measure of retribution against Connor Corr at #PPW188. At one point during the match, the two became locked in what some have come to call a “dance of reversals.” As both attempted to send the other into the turnbuckle, both were able to reverse the attempts numerous times until Skye had just enough momentum to tip the balance and afterward she executed a very impressive pin by bridging her back across Connor’s legs, pinning his shoulders to the mat and allowing for the three count.

RANDOM FANDOM CHALLENGE FOR THE PPW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP –
RONNY “VERONICA” METRO (C) DEF. “THE HUNK WITH THE TREE TRUNKS” CHASE GOSLING BY WAY OF PIN FALL TO RETAIN

An original PPW concept made its return at #PPW188 when the Premier Planet was given the opportunity to choose who Ronny Metro would put his title on the line against. Through random drawing, one lucky fan was selected to draw a name from a hat and the name drawn would be the person to face Ronny for the gold. The lucky draw turned out to be none other than the self-proclaimed “original dirty boy” and Ronny Metro’s bitter rival, Chase Gosling, a former two time champion in his own right. However, Chase had already competed twice earlier in the evening and the fans were left wondering if the shot from the kendo stick at the hands of Iniestra would be a deciding factor in the outcome. Having both an opportunity to win his third title and a chance to defeat his arch rival in the balance, Chase seemed to show no wear and tear as he came within inches of winning the gold, but the crafty champion was able to sneak away with a win and retain his title thanks to a sunset flip coupled with a handful of Chase’s trunks.

TAG TEAM MATCH –
ZERO 2 & ZERO 3 DEF. “EL MERO MERO” INIESTRA & SEM SEI BY WAY OF PIN FALL

It says in the Art of War that all warfare is deception and it seemed as though two members of the PPW roster took those words to heart at #PPW188. With their confidence overflowing thanks to a tainted victory and the assault on Chase Gosling with a kendo stick earlier in the evening, Iniestra and Sem Sei seemed like they thought they had their tag team match in the bag as they squared off against Zero 2 & Zero 3, but their confidence was soon turned on its head when the Zeroes were able to pull off a win by executing backslides on both Iniestra and Sem at the same time. As Iniestra and Sem protested inside the ring, outside the ring the Zeroes removed their masks to reveal that they were, in fact, Anakin and Matt Vine. While this delighted the fans in attendance, an irate Iniestra demanded a reversal of the decision, citing that Matt and Anakin were not their scheduled opponents. COO Randy Ricci did not reverse the decision, but acknowledged that Iniestra did indeed have a legitimate complaint and he announced that in one week at #PPW189, there will be a rematch between the teams of Iniestra & Sem and Anakin & Matt.
