The Premier Academy
Do you have dreams of becoming a professional wrestler? Are you someone who wants to get out of the stands and into the ring? The Premier Academy is always accepting new talent! We are looking for dedicated individuals with positive attitudes who are willing to commit and invest physically and psychologically to training.
Since September 2012, we have sent six different individuals down to Florida for official WWE tryouts, one of them being current WWE superstar, Kalisto and WWE currently has a few of our talents on their radar.
About Randy Ricci
Our head trainer and CEO, Rockin’ Randy Ricci, has been in the industry for over 30 years. In that time he has worked as an on-air talent for NWA, WWF/WWE, WCW, USWA, AWA, World Class Championship Wrestling and has worked behind the scenes for Ring of Honor, IWA-Puerto Rico and TNA.
Randy’s trainees include current WWE NXT Trainer and former NWA Champion Adam Pearce, former WWE superstar and former IWA-PR Intercontinental Champion Kasey James, former Zero-1 Japan star Adrian Lynch, as well as the current stars on the PPW roster such as “Irish” Andy Anderson, Scott Colton and Chase Gosling!
Randy has been the top area industry contact for many years, being instrumental in the development of local stars such as CM Punk, Jay Bradley, Shawn Daivari, Ken Kennedy, Adam Pearce and Colt Cabana giving each of them their earliest matches, in many cases their first match and an ongoing place to learn their craft once their training took them far enough.
Randy has also wrestled globally and forged strong personal and professional relationships with many legendary names in the business. Now he’s passing on his knowledge to the next generation of sports entertainers. His professionalism and respect in this industry make him one of the most legitimate trainers with the most solid contacts anywhere!
