Full Results #PPW102

Full match results from July 30, 2016 #PPW102 taping at Premier Pro Wrestling studios in Woodstock, IL and Post Show Wrap Up with Randy Ricci and Matt Vine.

– SINGLES MATCH –
ZERO 1 DEF. ZERO 2 VIA SUBMISSION

Two of PPW’s masked martial artists clashed in the evening’s opening contest. After an evenly paced matchup featuring a plethora of martial arts prowess and mat skills, it was Zero 1 who came out on top by forcing Zero 2 to tap out.

– SINGLES MATCH –
RONNY METRO DEF. ULYSSES S. ADAMS VIA PIN FALL

After Ronny Metro declared his disgust for the United States earlier in the week, Ulysses S. Adams set out to make him eat those words. Ronny, however, had other plans and set out on a mission of his own to put down the red, white, and blue clad fan favorite, but despite controlling the majority of the match, U.S.A. wouldn’t quit, but after Ronny managed to kick out of Adam’s leg drop — a feat no one has ever pulled off thus far in PPW — Adams seemed to lose a measure of focus, allowing Ronny to capitalize and seize the victory via pin fall. Ronny wasn’t satisfied with simply winning, however, and, just as he had done to rival “Irish” Andy Anderson and Premier CEO Randy Ricci, put an exclamation mark on his appearance by making a big splash (literally) off the top rope then attempted to put Adams on the shelf with a piledriver. Ronny was about to inflict more damage when Andy Anderson, Scott Colton, and Iniestra stormed the ring and saved the day, denying Ronny any further infliction of pain, but being too slow to catch him before he got out of dodge.

– SINGLES MATCH –
“THE PERSIAN POWERHOUSE” MILAD AKBAR DEF. EL LOBO (PPW DEBUT) VIA SUBMISSION

Newcomer El Lobo had his hands full in his PPW debut when he was tasked with facing the former and longest reigning PPW World Champion Milad Akbar. Much to the surprise of the Premier Planet (and Akbar), the newcomer held his own and gave the former champ, even managing to make it to the ropes and forcing Milad to break off the camel clutch, a maneuver that has put many people away during Milad’s years in PPW. Milad’s experience and ferocity were eventually too much for El Lobo to handle, however, and a second camel clutch was enough to serve El Lobo a disappointing defeat on his first night in PPW.

– PPW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH –
“THE HUMAN VIDEO GAME” SCOTT COLTON DEF. “THE FIVE TOOL PLAYER” CHASE GOSLING (C) VIA DISQUALIFICATION

After chasing the title he lost for weeks, the former champ, Scott Colton, finally got another chance at the man who took it from him in the first place, Chase Gosling. Despite having faced Colton many times in the past, Chase was in for a surprise as Colton brought a fight to him the likes of which Chase was ill prepared for. Throughout the match, Colton gave Chase no room for offense, but despite Colton’s heart and determination, Chase eventually regained the advantage and set out to prove why he beat Colton for the belt in the first place, but Colton wouldn’t stay down. Seeing no other way out, Chase executed a low blow on Colton in sight of the referee who immediately called for the bell and awarded the match to Colton by way of disqualification. However, since a title cannot change hands under such circumstances, Chase made it out of the match still PPW World Champion. After Chase scrambled to the back with belt in hand, Colton demanded a rematch for PPW 103 which was quickly granted by Premier officials.

– SINGLES MATCH –
“IRISH” ANDY ANDERSON DEF. KIM CHEE

The angry and ailing Irishman didn’t take too kindly to Kim Chee’s threats with a riding crop. PPW’s resident guard dog tossed Kim Chee around the ring like a new chew toy! A thumb to the eye slowed Andy down, but wasn’t enough to tame the beast. The masked zookeeper felt the full force of the Anderson Bomb and it was over 1,2,3.

– #1 CONTENDERS MATCH –
“WORLD EXCLUSIVE” MATT VINE vs INIESTRA ENDS IN A NO CONTEST

Matt Vine and Iniestra not only have mutual respect for one another, but they also share that respect with the PPW fans. The intensity and emotions were at an all time high and everyone was ready to find out who would become #1 contender for the coveted PPW championship. Vine and Iniestra went blow for blow and the fans were on the edge of their seats waiting to see who would emerge victorious. This magical moment was spoiled by none other than Ronny Metro, when he pounced on Matt Vine. Chaos ensued and Rockin’ Randy finally had to fend Ronny off with a steel chair. Randy announced that next week Ronny will face Matt Vine and Iniestra in a Triple Threat Match for the PPW #1 Contendership.
