– SINGLES MATCH –
ZERO 2 DEF. ZERO 1 VIA PIN FALL
To kick of the evening’s excitement, two of PPW’s masked competitors from the Orient tangled when Zero 1 took on Zero 2. The match was an exciting display of martial arts skill and wrestling prowess, but despite being evenly matched, only one could be declared the winner and it was Zero 2 who executed a sunset flip to seize victory via pin fall.
– SINGLES MATCH –
ULYSSES S. ADAMS DEF. KIM CHEE VIA PIN FALL
What began as a rivalry exploded into all out war when Kim Chee attacked “U.S.A.” after their match at PPW 109 and disgraced the American flag. Seeking revenge for the slight against his country, Ulysses had a fire in his belly going into this confrontation and, despite several flurries of offense from Kim Chee, including the use of his riding crop behind the referee’s back, Ulysses was able ring Kim Chee’s Liberty Bell and take home the win via pin fall, but Ulysses wasn’t given time to celebrate as he was attacked from behind by Zero 1 — apparently trying to make a statement after his loss to Zero 2 in the previous match. Like Kim Chee the week before, Zero 1 disgraced Old Glory and left Ulysses in a heap in the ring. However, it was then announced by PPW CEO Randy Ricci that the two will lock up at PPW 111!
– SINGLES MATCH –
“IRISH” ANDY ANDERSON DEF. “TEXAS” PETE VIA SUBMISSION
Before the match, “Texas” Pete made it known that he was no longer interested in pleasing the fans and was now focusing his sights on the PPW World Heavyweight Championship. His first rung on the ladder would prove to be a slippery one, however, as his opponent would be none other than PPW’s resident “guard dog,” Andy Anderson. Having been with PPW since day one, to say that the two are no strangers to each other is an understatement. Momentum shifted evenly until Andy, taking a surprising detour from his usual ground-and-pound style, managed to lock Pete in a Texas Cloverleaf submission hold in the middle of the ring. With nowhere to go, Pete had no choice but to tap out to the chain-wielding Irishman.
– SINGLES MATCH –
INIESTRA DEF. RONNY METRO VIA PIN FALL
After once again seeing his friend, Scott Colton, put on the shelf thanks to a piledriver courtesy of Ronny Metro last week, Iniestra had one goal in mind — getting revenge on Ronny. Despite being on the receiving end of punishment for the majority of the matchup, Iniestra brought every ounce of heart and guts to the ring and when Ronny made the mistake of letting his guard down for a fraction of a second, Iniestra capitalized and held Ronny’s shoulders down long enough for the 1, 2, 3, winning retribution for Scott Colton, but Ronny was not about to retreat quietly. He jumped Iniestra from behind and it appeared as if Iniestra might suffer the same fate as Colton when Ronny set him up for a piledriver, but Iniestra was able to reverse it and launch Ronny out of the ring. After Ronny had retreated, Randy Ricci announced that at PPW #111, Scott Colton will return to face Ronny!
– PPW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH –
“THE FIVE TOOL PLAYER” CHASE GOSLING (C) DEF. “THE WORLD EXCLUSIVE” MATT VINE VIA PIN FALL
Riding high after two successful title defenses against Matt Vine, PPW champion Chase Gosling was overflowing with confidence as he made his way to the ring. Unfortunately for Chase though, Vine seemed to bring a new intensity with him and, just as it seemed Chase would gain one foot of ground, Vine would push him two feet back. After a pin attempt, Chase was launched onto the referee’s back, incapacitating him which allowed Chase to bring a chair into the ring. Attempting to frame Vine for a cheap shot, Chase threw the chair to his opponent, but Vine was too savvy and threw the chair back to Chase. This repeated a few times until Vine finally had enough and threw the chair out of the ring. When the ref heard the chair hit the ground, he mistook it for Chase hitting Vine with it and, as the two were arguing, Vine snuck in and rolled Chase up for a pin, unaware that Chase had put his hand on the bottom rope. As Vine celebrated what he thought was his first world title victory in PPW, Chase rolled him up and seized the official pin fall. Next week, however, Vine will get another shot at Chase and the gold!
