– SINGLES MATCH –
ZERO 1 DEF. “TEXAS” PETE VIA PIN FALL

The evening’s match card kicked off with Zero 1 taking on the owner of an ever growing chip on his shoulder, “Texas” Pete. Still feeling disrespected by Premier leadership, Pete wanted to make an emphatic statement, but Zero 1’s strict regimen of training and discipline gave Pete a run for his money in the early going although Pete used veteran instinct to eventually turn the tide, but just as it seemed that Pete was closing in for the kill, Zero 1 caught him in a roll-up and was able to keep his shoulders down long enough to gain the three seconds he needed to pick up the win. There is little doubt that the chip on Pete’s shoulder will continue to grow after this one.

– BRACKET B CHALLENGE PRO CUP TOURNAMENT MATCH –
RONNY METRO (2) DEF. ULYSSES S. ADAMS (0) VIA PIN FALL

With last week slipping through his fingers, “U.S.A.” Ulysses S. Adams faced elimination from the Challenge Pro Cup Tournament in round two if he failed to achieve victory. It would be no easy task as his opponent would be Ronny Metro who put himself on the board with two points one week ago. Adams’ climb would only grow steeper after Ronny hit him with a crushing splash from the top rope and scored the first fall via pin, but Adams was able to regroup and roll Ronny up for the second, tying the score and making the next fall the decision maker. As Adams attempted to leap over the top rope and roll Ronny up, Ronny was able to stop the momentum, sat across Adams’ shoulders and, with a little help from the second rope, pick up the win, placing him atop his tournament bracket.

– BRACKET A CHALLENGE PRO CUP TOURNAMENT MATCH –
INIESTRA (0) VS. PPW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION “THE WORLD EXCLUSIVE” MATT VINE (0) ENDED IN A DOUBLE COUNT OUT

After failing to capture the PPW World Heavyweight Championship from Vine several weeks ago, Iniestra had the opportunity to redeem himself by not only putting points on the board for himself, but also by knocking the champ out of the tournament. Iniestra gained the early advantage by turning a sunset flip into a sit-out powerbomb and scoring the first fall of the match, but Vine quickly regrouped and scored the second with an Earth-shaking spinebuster. Fighting tooth and nail, both eventually found themselves on the outside of the ring, neither able to get back into the ring by the referee’s count of ten. With a unique situation now on his hands, Premier CEO Randy Ricci came to ringside to address the wrestlers and the fans in attendance and made the decision that since both men put on a great match, the points would be divided and both would walk away with one point a piece.

– BRACKET A CHALLENGE PRO CUP TOURNAMENT MATCH –
“THE FIVE TOOL PLAYER” CHASE GOSLING (2) DEF. “THE HUMAN VIDEO GAME” SCOTT COLTON (2) VIA COUNT OUT

No strangers to each other, Chase Gosling and Scott Colton went into their match tied at two points each. The winner of this one would decide who would leave the Premier Studio the new leader of the bracket. With their rivalry going on a year now, an immense amount of pride was on the line as well. Never one to back down from digging into his filthy bag of tricks, Chase was able to score the first fall by using the ropes for leverage to score a pin, putting Colton at a significant disadvantage. Colton would not be put down though and took to his element in the air, delivering a 450 splash from the top rope to seize the second fall via pin. Now, with the top bracket spot to decided by the next fall, the action spilled to the outside and both competitors found themselves duking it out on the apron. That was when Chase used his power advantage to toss Colton over the corner and send him back to the floor with a sickening thud. Chase was then able to get back into the ring just in time to meet the referee’s count, earning him the winning fall via count out and placing him at the top of bracket A.

– BRACKET B CHALLENGE PRO CUP TOURNAMENT MATCH –
“THE CORNFED COLOSSUS” MICHAEL MACK (0) DEF. “IRISH” ANDY ANDERSON (2) VIA PIN FALL

After losing his tournament match last week, Michael Mack was determined to not let his return to PPW be soured by being taken out of contention for the Challenge Pro Cup. To stay in the tournament though, he would have to contend with the new and some might say corrupted attitude of Andy Anderson. Andy controlled the pace of the match until his face met Mack’s knees on the way down for an Andybomb, creating some much needed separation for Mack who got back to his feet and immediately went on the offensive until Andy was able to take out the left knee and ground the big man. Andy made a mistake, however, and executed a low blow in sight of the referee who immediately called for a disqualification. As he and the referee argued in the corner, Andy took his eyes off of Mack who snuck up from behind and rolled Andy up with a schoolboy and scored his second fall, earning him the victory and his first points of the tournament.
