– TAG TEAM MATCH –
YA BOYZ (INIESTRA & “THE HUMAN VIDEO GAME” SCOTT COLTON) DEF. “TEXAS” PETE & ZERO 3 VIA PIN FALL

In a special attraction tag team match to kick off the evening, “Ya Boyz” Scott Colton and Iniestra took on the unorthodox team of “Texas” Pete and Zero 3. Unable to compete with the team chemistry and fast-paced style of Colton and Iniestra, Pete and Zero tasted the bitter flavor of defeat when, despite their best efforts, Iniestra delivered a sunset bomb to Pete for the 1-2-3.

– PPW CHALLENGE PRO CUP TOURNAMENT QUARTERFINAL MATCH –
“THE CORNFED COLOSSUS” MICHAEL MACK DEF. PPW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION “THE WORLD EXCLUSIVE” MATT VINE VIA PIN FALL

PPW World Heavyweight Champion, Matt Vine, has been on a roll since winning the title, but he faced a sizable roadblock when he faced the colossal Texan, Michael Mack, in Challenge Pro Cup Tournament action. Mack fired the first shot when he scored a pin fall after delivering a ground-shaking powerslam to the champ, but Vine answered back after resisting another powerslam and rolling the big man up for a pin of his own. Things got even more interesting during the third fall when Chase Gosling appeared at ringside under the guise of simply wanting to watch the match and take a few pictures. Taking exception to the distraction, Vine decided to get Chase before Chase tried anything funny and took Chase out of the equation, but doing so would allow Mack to regain steam and capitalize on the distraction to seize the third fall, advancing to the semifinals of the tournament.

– PPW CHALLENGE PRO CUP QUARTERFINAL MATCH –
“THE HUMAN VIDEO GAME” SCOTT COLTON DEF. ULYSSES S. ADAMS VIA PIN FALL

With a moral victory in his tag team match with Iniestra earlier in the evening, Scott Colton went into his tournament match with head held high, but his opponent would be the Red, White & Blue clad powerhouse, Ulysses S. Adams. With pitbull-like tenacity, Colton was able to use his agility to score back-to-back pin falls, sending him into the semifinals and “U.S.A.” to the showers to lick his wounds.

– TRIPLE THREAT MATCH –
INIESTRA DEF. “THE FIVE TOOL PLAYER” CHASE GOSLING AND RONNY METRO VIA PIN FALL

In what seemed to be more of a handicap match than a triple threat, Iniestra was forced to compete against “The Dirty Boys Club” of Ronny Metro and Chase Gosling who, from the start, tried to get under Iniestra’s skin by coming to the ring sporting a sombrero and a Mexican-style poncho. Despite taking a beating at the hands of his opponents, “El Mero Mero” refused to stay down and Chase and Ronny grew more and more frustrated as the match wore on and, after a few breakdowns in communication, Iniestra took advantage and was able to ground both of his opponents and deliver a lionsault to both for the pin and the win. Fuming, Ronny and Chase initiated an all-out assault on Iniestra. After Chase delivered a powerful slam, Ronny ascended the top top and came down on Iniestra with a splash so brutal it was later revealed that Iniestra’s ribs were injured in the collision. Not willing to stand aside while his friend took a beating, Scott Colton stormed the ring with chair in hand and chased off the “dirty boys” then attended to his friend. With help from Colton and other members of the roster, Iniestra made his way to the back, wounded but victorious.
