– SINGLES MATCH –
“THE CORNFED COLOSSUS” MICHAEL MACK DEF. HAMMOND EGGARS VIA PIN FALL

In what was his biggest competition to date — meant both figuratively and literally — PPW newcomer, Hammond Eggars, was tasked with the unenviable duty of squaring off against the 280lb Texan, Michael Mack, who made an example of the rookie from the very start and, eventually, put things to rest when he delivered the Earth splitting powerslam to seal the deal.

– #1 CONTENDERS MATCH QUALIFIER –
“THE HUMAN VIDEO GAME” SCOTT COLTON DEF. “IRISH” ANDY ANDERSON VIA PIN FALL

With a sixty minute time limit at their disposal, former friends, Andy Anderson and Scott Colton, showed no quarter to each other as they faced off with an enormous amount of pride and a chance to compete in a number one contenders match at PPW #136 on the line. Colton took an early advantage, but when the action spilled to the outside, Andy showed his true colors and stretched the rule book as far as it would go without getting himself disqualified in the process. With the ball now in his court, Andy brutalized his former protégé, but Scott refused to stay down, much to the frustration of Andy. As Andy’s temper flared over not being able to put Scott down, he took his eye off the ball for a fraction of a second and anybody who has seen the agility of Scott Colton knows that a fraction of a second is all it takes and the crowd favorite executed a picture perfect sunset flip to roll Andy up just long enough for the referee to make the three count, bringing Scott Colton one step closer to becoming the new number one contender for the PPW World Heavyweight Championship.

– #1 CONTENDERS MATCH QUALIFIER –
RONNY METRO DEF. INIESTRA VIA PIN FALL

With Scott Colton now entered into next Saturday’s number one contenders match, the question was now about who his opponent would be. Would it be his best friend and tag team partner, Iniestra, or would it be the constant thorn in his side, Ronny Metro of the Dirty Boys Club and would the X factors of Andy Anderson and Scott Colton on the outside come into play? As soon as the bell rang, Iniestra charged at Ronny, causing Ronny to dive out of the ring to avoid the fury of Woodstock’s favorite son, but the tide soon turned and saw Ronny with the advantage which he held for a significant portion of the match, but Iniestra was able to dig down deep for a second wind. While Iniestra attempted to get a pin on Ronny with a sunset flip over the top rope, Andy grabbed Ronny’s hands from the outside to prevent the roll-up, but the keen eyes of the referee saw what was happening and kicked Andy’s hands away, giving Iniestra enough momentum to bridge into another pin attempt, but as the referee tried to get a fired up Scott Colton off the apron, Andy crept into the ring and hit Iniestra with some sort of object, allowing Ronny to seize the opportunity and score the victory. After the match, a visibly distraught Scott Colton helped his friend to the locker room.

– SINGLES MATCH –
“THE HUMAN VIDEO GAME” SCOTT COLTON DEF. “SLAMMIN'” SKIP MCKENZIE VIA PIN FALL

After watching his best friend, Iniestra, get sidelined by the Dirty Boys Club, Scott Colton was given the opportunity to blow off some steam when he competed against the debuting graduate of the Premier Academy, “Slammin'” Skip McKenzie who gave the former PPW World Heavyweight Champion and winner of the 2016 Challenge Pro Cup a run for his money, but to no avail as he was bested by the much more experienced Colton. After the match, however, the Premier Planet gave a round of applause to the rookie, letting him know he had nothing to be ashamed of.

After the match, Premier COO, Randy Ricci, came to the ring and informed everyone that, due to being hit with the foreign object, Iniestra will be on the shelf for PPW #136 per doctor’s orders. This left a dilemma, because Iniestra had been scheduled to face Andy Anderson in a number one contenders match qualifier. That’s when Scott Colton himself put the challenge out for a triple threat number one contenders match this Saturday night pitting himself against Ronny Metro and Andy Anderson!

– PPW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH –
“THE HUNK WITH THE TREE TRUNKS” CHASE GOSLING (C) DEF. “THE WORLD EXCLUSIVE” MATT VINE VIA COUNT OUT

Having finally scratched and clawed his way back into the title picture, Matt Vine aimed to regain the title many feel he was robbed of and rid himself of the mind games brought on by Chase Gosling in recent weeks. The match was nothing short of a war that left the Premier Planet on the edge of their seats and, with every near fall, hearts skipped a beat as the two refused to give an inch up to the other. However, just as it seemed Vine was closing in for the kill as he charged at Chase, the champion pulled down the top rope, causing Vine to spill to the outside and, when he couldn’t re-enter the ring by the referee’s ten count, Chase was declared the winner by count out. As Chase began to celebrate, Premier COO, Randy Ricci, came to ringside and, taking a page out of Chase’s playbook by citing the PPW bi-laws, informed both men that, because the match had been ruled a count out, Vine is still the legitimate number one contender. He then announced that, this coming Saturday in Woodstock, there will be a rematch for the PPW World Heavyweight Championship!
