In the evening’s opening contest, Zero 1 had the unenviable task of competing against the nearly 300lb Texan, Michael Mack who, despite a few offensive flurries from Zero 1, ran through the competition like a stampeding bull and put Zero 1 away with a devastating running powerslam.

YA BOYZ (“THE HUMAN VIDEO GAME” SCOTT COLTON & INIESTRA) DEF. THE DIRTY BOYS CLUB (PPW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION “THE HUNK WITH THE TREE TRUNKS” CHASE GOSLING & “IRISH” ANDY ANDERSON) VIA PIN FALL
With VeRonica Metro out of action for the week, PPW World Heavyweight Champion, Chase Gosling, offered himself as “tribute” in VeRonica’s place, teaming with fellow Dirty Boy, Andy Anderson, to take on Ya Boyz, Scott Colton and Iniestra, in a tag team grudge match. Despite trying to get the jump on Ya Boyz before the bell even rang, Chase and Andy quickly found themselves on the receiving end of the agile offense of Colton and Iniestra. With much pride on the line, the two teams exchanged the advantage time and time again with Chase and Andy frequently living up to their Dirty Boys moniker by employing numerous underhanded tactics until an exhausted Scott, who had spent a sizable portion of the match isolated from his partner, was able to make the tag to Iniestra. The fired up Woodstock native took the fight to both Andy and Chase and, as Chase had Scott up in the air, Iniestra ascended the top turnbuckle and delivered a dropkick to Scott’s back which caused Chase to lose his balance and land with Scott across his shoulders long enough for a three count.
– STUDENT SHOWCASE –
In a special showcase, four Premier Academy students had the opportunity to prove their meddle when they were placed into singles competition against two of Premier’s top talents, both Academy graduates in their own right. Despite going 0 for 4 in their matches, all of the students received a well deserved ovation from the Premier Planet.

“THE WORLD EXCLUSIVE” MATT VINE DEF. PPW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION “THE HUNK WITH THE TREE TRUNKS” CHASE GOSLING VIA PIN FALL
After being unable to seize back the PPW World Heavyweight Championship from Chase Gosling in recent weeks, Matt Vine put it all on the line and vowed that, if he could not beat Chase at PPW #137, he would retire from active competition. With the stakes as high as they could possibly be, Vine and Gosling battled each other into utter exhaustion and held nothing back as the Premier Planet nearly blew the roof off of the Premier Studio. At one point, Chase was able to roll Vine up for a pin, but just as Chase thought he scored the win, the referee informed Chase that he had seen Chase’s sneaky attempt to hold Vine’s trunks and as Chase argued with the ref, Vine took advantage and rolled Chase up for the 1, 2, 3. As Vine was celebrating, however, Chase hurried to the back and reemerged with phone in hand and proceeded to, once again, cite the PPW rule book and dropped the bomb that, due to it being a new month, he was not contractually obligated to defend his championship, meaning the match was non-title. With his hands tied by the PPW bi-laws, Premier COO, Randy Ricci, had no choice but to comply, so while Vine had won the match, the title, once again, eluded him. With title belt in hand, though, Vine told Chase that, if Chase wanted it back, he would have to give Vine another match, this time with a sixty minute time limit and a two-out-of-three falls stipulation. Wanting his belt back, Chase had little choice but to accept and the match was placed on the books for PPW #138!
