SINGLES MATCH –
SEM SEI DEF. LA TARANTULA BY WAY OF PIN FALL

Showing miles of heart and fire, but still without a “W” in Premier Pro Wrestling, Premier Academy standout, La Tarantula, did battle with another standout from the Premier Academy, Sem Sei, accompanied to the ring by his now apparent mentor, Iniestra. La Tarantula put up an incredible effort against Sem, but Iniestra would take advantage of a distracted referee on a few occasions to give Sem an unfair edge in the match and the numbers game was too much for La Tarantula who fell victim to a missile dropkick from the top rope, leading to a pin fall victory for Sem.

TAG TEAM MATCH –
“EL MERO MERO” INIESTRA & SEM SEI VS. ANAKIN & “THE WORLD EXCLUSIVE” MATT VINE RULED A DOUBLE DISQUALIFICATION

With bad blood boiling between both sides, number one contender Anakin teamed with former three time champion Matt Vine to take on the team of Sem Sei and Iniestra, but the match was eventually thrown out when chaos erupted inside the ring as all four men engaged in a melee which the referee quickly lost control of, resulting in a double disqualification, but neither side seemed to bat an eye as the fight continued. Due to the circumstances surrounding the match’s conclusion, two one-on-one matches have been assigned to this coming Saturday’s studio taping. Anakin will take on “El Mero Mero” Iniestra and Sem Sei will do battle with “The World Exclusive” Matt Vine.

GRUDGE MATCH –
“THE HUNK WITH THE TREE TRUNKS” CHASE GOSLING DEF. “IRISH” ANDY ANDERSON BY WAY OF PIN FALL

After picking up a victory over Andy, but receiving a beating after the fact one week ago, Chase Gosling threw down the challenge for a rematch and promised to “neuter” his former friend and partner. The mind games started early with Chase and, for a while, Andy seemed thrown off his game, but Andy’s veteran instincts would lead him to target the “tree trunks” of Chase and he began a vicious assault on Chase’s leg which took Chase’s height advantage out of the equation for a time and brought Andy within inches of a victory. In the course of the match, the referee was inadvertently knocked out of the ring and that was when Andy’s fellow Dirty Boy, PPW Champion Ronny “Veronica” Metro, entered the scenario, but the Dirty Boys’ plans went awry when Chase, who was being held in place by Ronny, managed to duck a clothesline from Andy, causing Andy to hit Ronny instead. Seeing his opponent’s guard down, Chase delivered a leg lariat to Andy which was enough to stun him and give Chase the win via pin fall. Chase was not done with the Dirty Boys Club, however, and issued a challenge for a one-on-one non-title match against Ronny at #PPW183.

SINGLES MATCH –
“THE WORLD EXCLUSIVE” MATT VINE VS. “EL MERO MERO” INIESTRA RULED A DOUBLE COUNT OUT

With even more bad blood now between them due to how their tag team match earlier in the evening ended, former friends turned bitter rivals, Matt Vine and Iniestra, went to war inside the ring and the match that resulted was a sight to behold with both men throwing everything they could at each other, but with neither being able to successfully pick up the victory. As the match neared the thirty minute mark, both men put in one last gasp to try and finally put away the other, but the battle had taken nearly everything out of both participants and both found themselves on the canvas unable to answer the referee’s ten count, resulting in a double count out. With neither of their matches resulting in a winner, it is guaranteed that both men will now feel more motivated than ever to prove who is the better man in PPW, thus further escalating their ever growing conflict.

SINGLES MATCH –
“SHREDDIN’” CONNOR CORR DEF. SKYE BLUE BY WAY OF PIN FALL

After being embarrassed at the hands of Chase Gosling at #PPW181, Connor Corr placed the blame squarely on Skye Blue who had defeated Connor, forcing him into the match with Chase. Connor was in for a surprise as Skye unleashed a barrage of new and innovative offense, leaving Connor reeling, but a split second is all it takes for momentum to shift in a match, and Connor was able to seize on a split second in order to successfully roll Skye up for a pin fall, but turnabout is fair play and Skye decided that she would give Connor a taste of his own medicine when she attacked him from behind after their match just as he had done to her in previous encounters. Connor put on a brave face as he dragged himself back to the locker room, but there is no doubt that his pride, much like his body, took a beating.

PPW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH –
RONNY “VERONICA” METRO (C) DEF. ANAKIN BY WAY OF SUBMISSION

Heading into the biggest match of his young career, the Premier Planet eagerly waited in anticipation to see if seventeen year old Premier Academy standout, Anakin, would have what it took to become the youngest PPW Champion in history, but the question of whether or not he would be able to endure after his tag team match earlier in the evening loomed heavy, particularly because his opponent was one of six people who, through PPW, had earned himself a WWE tryout, reigning champion Ronny “Veronica” Metro who, aside from that, was fresh and had no other matches prior to the main event. With the Premier Planet firmly behind him, Anakin threw every weapon in his arsenal at Ronny and seemed to shake up the champ who, going into the match, believed he would make quick work of the young upstart. However, it seemed that Anakin had bitten off more than he could chew. As fatigue set in, Ronny sensed his opponent wearing down and, despite a valiant effort, Anakin found himself in the middle of the ring, locked in a sharpshooter. In immense pain, but unwilling to submit, Anakin eventually succumbed to the pain and exhaustion, passing out and forcing the referee to call for the bell and award the match to Ronny. Despite coming so close to the top of the mountain, Anakin has been thrown from the number one contender’s seat. Disappointed, but full of heart and ambition, Anakin promises that this will only prove to be a minor setback and has vowed that, no matter how long it takes, he will, one day, raise the PPW World Championship over his head.
