SINGLES MATCH –
SLAPPO DEF. ZERO 1 BY WAY OF PIN FALL

After suffering a defeat at the hands of Sem Sei one week ago, PPW’s hijinks loving harlequin, Slappo, returned to action at the Premier Studio to take on Zero 1 who, despite a significant experience advantage, was repeatedly made the butt of several jokes and became a punchline when Slappo was able to execute a sunset flip and hold his shoulders down on the mat long enough for the referee to count a pin fall, earning Slappo a measure of redemption from the week prior.

– SINGLES MATCH –
INIESTRA DEF. LA TARANTULA BY WAY OF PIN FALL

Before competing in a triple threat match for the number one contendership later in the evening, “El Mero Mero” Iniestra was given a warmup match of sorts against La Tarantula who has shown a lot of heart and determination since his debut a short while ago, but was still looking for his first win in PPW. To his surprise, Iniestra nearly became La Tarantula’s first victim on numerous occasions during the course of the match, but experience carried the day and La Tarantula had yet another victory taken from him thanks to a well placed top rope frog splash, giving Iniestra some steam on his way into the triple threat.

SINGLES MATCH –
“SHREDDIN’” CONNOR CORR DEF. SKYE BLUE BY WAY OF PIN FALL

Still licking his wounds after losing to Skye Blue last week, Connor Corr showed a new level of brutality in his offense and, despite an offensive flurry of her own, Skye let her guard down and a split second was all it took for Connor to take advantage and roll her up with a schoolboy for the win. After repeatedly utilizing underhanded tactics to gain pin falls over Skye, could this clean win be a sign that Connor finally has Skye’s number or will this untainted victory be proven to be a one hit wonder?

GRUDGE MATCH –
“THE HUNK WITH THE TREE TRUNKS” CHASE GOSLING DEF. “IRISH” ANDY ANDERSON BY WAY OF DISQUALIFICATION

After trickery and scheming on the part of the Dirty Boys Club cost him a non-title match against Ronny Metro one week ago, Chase Gosling was out for payback when he challenged Andy Anderson to a one-on-one match and Premier officials decided, in order to level the playing field, to bar Ronny from ringside. After a less-than-desirable “thumbs up,” from Chase, Andy was significantly thrown off of his game while Chase seized on the advantage, but Andy’s veteran instinct soon turn the tides and the two eventually found themselves on the outside of the ring while the referee started the count. As the count neared ten, Andy was able to roll under the bottom rope to avoid being counted out, but as Chase was just about to get back into the ring at the last second, Ronny, despite being barred from ringside, snuck down the aisle and prevented Chase from reentering the match, leading to the referee counting him out, but that’s when the Dirty Boys made the mistake of bringing their victory celebration into the ring where the referee saw Ronny and put two and two together, at which point he reversed the decision and awarded the match to Chase by way of disqualification. This lead to a verbal confrontation between Andy and Ronny which quickly escalated to a physical level and the Premier Planet is now left wondering if this is just a bump in the road or if they’ve witnessed the implosion of the Dirty Boys Club.

– TRIPLE THREAT MATCH TO CROWN A NEW NUMBER ONE CONTENDER FOR THE PPW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP –
INIESTRA DEF. ANAKIN AND SEM SEI BY WAY OF PIN FALL

The three men who came up short in last week’s four corners number one contender match were given another opportunity to earn a world championship match in a triple threat match. With the odds now slightly more in their favor, Iniestra, Sem Sei, and Anakin engaged in an exciting display of arial and technical expertise with each coming so close on numerous occasions to scoring the victory. In a rare moment of collaboration, Anakin and Sem decided they needed to take Iniestra out of the equation and delivered a double team superplex from the top rope, but Iniestra’s veteran instincts kicked in and he was able to use his legs to hook Anakin’s leg upon landing, leading to the three count and bringing “El Mero Mero” one step closer to regaining the PPw World Heavyweight Championship.

PPW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH –
“THE WORLD EXCLUSIVE” MATT VINE DEF. RONNY “VERONICA” METRO (C) BY WAY OF COUNT OUT

Matt Vine set out to set yet another record at #PPW185 when he faced off against long-time rival, Ronny Metro, with the PPW Championship on the line. Vine, the only three time champion in company history, had his eyes set on reign number four while Ronny was prepared to do whatever necessary to hold on to the title. With all of the proverbial marbles on the line, the two competitors tried in vain to put the other man down until Ronny locked Vine in a sharpshooter in the middle of the ring. The bell rang and Ronny, along with some members of the Premier Planet, immediately believed that Vine had submitted, but it was announced that, in fact, the time limit had expired. Feeling as if he could have made Vine submit if it weren’t for the clock running out, Ronny demanded five more minutes and, despite being severely weakened by the sharpshooter, Vine agreed and much to Ronny’s surprise, Vine unleashed an intense offense with what seemed to be a second wind, but Ronny, now feeling that he had perhaps gotten more than he bargained for by asking for the extra time, fled the ringside area with belt in hand and was counted out, leading to Vine winning the match by way of count out, but Ronny retaining the title. Matt Vine has now dropped out of title contention, but has been granted another chance for a shot at the gold when he faces someone who is just as hungry to get back to the top of the PPW mountain, Chase Gosling, in a number one contenders match this coming Saturday night. Meanwhile, Ronny Metro has a new challenger to his throne in the form of former champion, Iniestra.
