SINGLES MATCH
“EL MERO MERO” INIESTRA (W/ SEM SEI & JOSE ACOSTA) DEF. N.P.K. BY WAY OF PIN FALL
After being taken out of action two weeks ago thanks to a chair shot courtesy of Anakin, Iniestra returned to action in the Premier Studio and his opponent was a newcomer from the Premier Academy wrestling his first match in front of the Premier Planet, a young competitor known only as N.P.K. Despite being at a disadvantage in regard to experience, N.P.K. put on an impressive showing against the former PPW World Champion and current Tag Team Champion, but Iniestra was not willing to allow a rookie to spoil his return to the ring and, thanks to having his feet on the ropes where the referee could not see, pinned N.P.K. and robbed him of a potential victory in his first outing in Premier Pro Wrestling and, to add insult to injury, was joined by Sem and Jose in a three-on-one beatdown of the newcomer until Anakin and Not Bad Chad made the save, chased off the three assailants, and helped N.P.K. back to his feet where he received a well-deserved round of applause from the Premier Planet for an impressive first outing.
SINGLES MATCH
NOT BAD CHAD DEF. “CONNEST” CONNOR CORR (W/ NIKOLAI ZHUKOV) BY WAY OF PIN FALL
With the big Soviet sympathizer, Nikolai Zhukov, in his corner, the self-proclaimed feminist and sportsman, Connor Corr, was looking for competition at #PPW230 and he found it in the form of one of PPW’s resident party animals, Not Bad Chad. Even with the big Zhukov watching his back, Connor proved to be no match for Chad who took full advantage of an opening and rolled Connor up for a pin.
SINGLES MATCH
“IRISH” ANDY ANDERSON DEF. JOSE ACOSTA (W/ SEM SEI) BY WAY OF DISQUALIFICATION
Feeling the full spirit of Christmas at #PPW230, “Irish” Andy Anderson went toe-to-toe with the turncoat, Jose Acosta, who walked to the ring to a chorus of “traitor” chants from the Premier Planet who haven’t forgotten how he betrayed his former tag team partner, Anakin, and allied himself with Iniestra and Sem Sei two weeks ago. With Sem Sei in his corner, Jose was full of confidence as he took on PPW’s longest standing veteran, but as the match wore on, it seemed that Jose had overestimated his abilities and eventually Jose showed his desperation. As Andy went in for the final blow, Sem grabbed on to Andy’s leg and Jose, in full view of the referee, delivered a blatant low blow to the Anderson family ornaments, resulting in a disqualification against Jose and a victory for Andy who, once he recovered from the low blow, partied down with the Premier Planet at ringside.
BEST OF SEVEN SERIES: MATCH #3
ZERO 1 (1-1) DEF. SKYE BLUE (1-1) BY WAY OF PIN FALL
Tied at one win a piece heading into the third match of their best of seven series, Zero 1 and Skye Blue were both after a win to break the stalemate and gain the momentum on the road to become the first to four victories. Showcasing every ounce of their talents, Zero 1 and Skye wrestled a very seesaw match, trading the momentum back and forth until Skye attempted to take the victory with a diving cross-body from the top turnbuckle, but Zero 1 was able to use the momentum of the maneuver to roll backward and pin Skye. Zero 1 is now ahead in the series, but the pause button will be pressed on the series this coming Saturday at #PPW231, because Skye will go one-on-one with a special guest opponent, Cali Young.
NON-TITLE MATCH
PPW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION “THE SYMBOL OF EXCELLENCE” MATT VINE DEF. “THE BONE DAWG” BRYCE AKERS BY WAY OF PIN FALL
After being robbed of his chance to become PPW World Heavyweight Championship at #PPW229, “The Bone Dawg” Bryce Akers challenged the champion, Matt Vine, to a non-title match in order to prove that he could beat the champion one-on-one, but despite a valiant effort, Bryce once again fell victim to Matt Vine’s willingness to bend the rules as Vine held on to the top rope while having Bryce in a pinning predicament, but as Matt gloated in the ring with his title, a voice called from the back to cut Matt’s music and familiar music began to fill the Premier Studio. It was the music of the one and only “Hunk with the Tree Trunks” Chase Gosling who emerged through the curtain! Matt has been taking credit for Chase’s separated shoulder and supposed forced retirement from professional wrestling for several weeks since the incident, so seeing his arch nemesis in the Premier Studio was indeed an unwelcome surprise for the champion. With his arm still in a sling, Chase announced that, despite how things looked, he was in fact not retiring from in-ring competition and removed the sling to reveal a fully healed shoulder. However, Chase announced that he was not cleared by doctors to return to action for another week. This, however, did not stop Chase from putting a metaphorical lump of coal in Matt’s Christmas stocking as he revealed that Matt had been entered into an impromptu match and his opponent was none other than the 6’5,” 270 pound monster from Pro Wrestling NOAH, Jay Bradley!
IMPROMPTU MATCH
JAY BRADLEY DEF. PPW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION “THE SYMBOL OF EXCELLENCE” MATT VINE BY WAY OF COUNT OUT
With unfinished business on his mind, Jay Bradley made a surprising return to Premier Pro Wrestling and stepped into the ring with Matt Vine who, at first, wanted nothing to do with the man who has been a recurring dark cloud over his head, but Matt showed a new level of viciousness as he wounded and targeted Jay’s leg, but Jay could not be kept down no matter how much pain Matt inflicted on him. Frustrated that he could not put Jay down for the count, Matt exited the ring, grabbed the PPW World Heavyweight Championship belt, and retreated back to the locker room as the match was ongoing and the referee counted to ten, giving Jay Bradley the win by way of count out, but robbing him of the satisfaction of being able to prove what he has been saying for a long time, that he is the more dominant force between them.
PPW WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
“EL MERO MERO” INIESTRA & SEM SEI (C) VS. ANAKIN & NOT BAD CHAD THROWN OUT DUE TO OUTSIDE INTERFERENCE
When they defeated Sem Sei and Jose Acosta at #PPW229, Anakin and Not Bad Chad earned their opportunity to challenge for the PPW World Tag Team Championship. With so much bad blood existing between the two sides, this match was just as much about personal glory as it was about the Tag Team Titles, but when that bad blood boiled over, the referee began to lose control of the match as all four men found themselves in the ring together, but it was Anakin and Chad who took control of the situation. However, just as it seemed like they were about to win the titles, Jose Acosta entered the match and broke up the pin, but fast on his heels was Premier Academy standout, N.P.K., who had payback of his own in mind after his loser to Iniestra in his debut match earlier in the evening. Due to the interference of Jose and N.P.K., the referee had no choice but to throw the match out, meaning that the titles could not change hands and that Iniestra and Sem would retain, but Premier COO, Randy Ricci, came to ringside to address the situation and announced that this coming Saturday at #PPW231 there will be a six-man tag team match! The Tag Team Champions, Iniestra and Sem Sei, will team up with Jose Acosta to take on the team of Anakin, Not Bad Chad, and N.P.K. and, if Anakin, Chad, and N.P.K. are successful, Anakin and Chad will earn another opportunity at the Tag Team Titles!
