**SINGLES MATCH**
SEM SEI VS. “THE BONE DAWG” BRYCE AKERS ENDS IN A TIME LIMIT DRAW

With no obligation to defend the Tag Team Championships at #PPW239, “El Mero Mero” Iniestra decided to take a week off from in-ring competition while his partner, Sem Sei, was signed to a match against one of PPW’s fastest rising young stars, Bryce Akers. This would be no ordinary one-on-one match, however. Wanting to challenge the gusto of both competitors, Premier officials assigned a special time limit of ten minutes to the match, meaning that both would have to work not only effectively, but quickly as well if they wanted to achieve victory. With such limited time at their disposal, the two men put on a fast-paced contest where speed was key, but in the end neither man was able to strike a decisive blow and the time limit expired, leaving no winner although both men walked away proclaiming to the other that, given just a little more time, he would have prevailed.

**SINGLES MATCH**
SKYE BLUE DEF. “CONNEST” CONNOR CORR BY WAY OF PIN FALL

When Skye Blue was victorious over Connor Corr and his friend, “Handsome” Dan Liplock, at #PPW238 in tag team action, Connor chastised Skye, the Premier Planet, and even the emcee, Justin Barlow, for not showing his friend proper hospitality and vowed to make an example of Skye, but when Connor went to the well once too often, it proved to be his undoing. After delivering two of his signature bouncing splashes, Connor tried for a third, but Skye was able to get her knees up and drive them into Connor’s abdomen, knocking the wind out of him and giving Skye the opening she needed to secure the victory via pin fall, but even though Skye won the match, it would be Connor who had the last laugh. With her back turned to the entryway, Skye was attacked by a mysterious masked man wielding a Soviet flag who ruined Skye’s moment and left her laying in the ring as he helped Connor to the back while Not Bad Chad and Bryce Akers came to the ring to assist Skye.

**NUMBER ONE CONTENDERS MATCH**
ANAKIN DEF. “MR. ELECTRICITY” CHASE GOSLING BY WAY OF DECISION

When tag team partners, Anakin and Chase Gosling, found themselves in a draw after being the last two men standing in a four corners match to crown a new number on contender to the PPW World Heavyweight Championship at #PPW238, the decision was made to put the two in a one-on-one match to decide who would be next in line for a title opportunity. Due to the circumstances surrounding the conclusion of the four corners match, however, Premier COO, Randy Ricci, placed himself into the one-on-one match as special guest referee to better ensure a clear cut winner would be produced. After wrestling each other into utter exhaustion in the midst of an exciting contest, Chase and Anakin found themselves outside the ring and on the floor. With no fuel left in their tanks, neither man could get back into the ring before Randy made the ten count, resulting in both men being counted out. With yet another draw in the air, Randy decided that a winner must be declared and exercised his executive authority to rule a winner based on decision. After a moment of suspense, Randy ruled that the new number one contender would be crowned based on his over all performance in the match. As Randy turned his gaze toward Chase, most thought Randy was about to award the victory to him, but Randy only looked at Chase to offer a consolatory apology as he raised the hand of the winner and new number one contender, Anakin, who, after a moment of joyful celebration, extended his hand to Chase in sportsmanship and respect only to be met with a wad of Chase’s chewed up gum in his palm as Chase left the ring, clearly bitter over the outcome of the match and leaving many doubts lingering in the air over whether or not their friendship had survived the encounter.

**NUMBER ONE CONTENDERS TAG TEAM GAUNTLET**

After another successful title defense at #PPW238, reigning World Tag Team Champions, Iniestra and Sem Sei, were not obligated to defend their titles at #PPW239, but their next opponents were just on the horizon as four teams were scheduled to lock horns in a gauntlet match to decide who would be next in line to challenge the self-proclaimed “special people” for the gold.

**MATCH #1**
JOSE ACOSTA & THE MAGNIFICENT RED DEF. SLICK WILLY & NOT BAD CHAD BY WAY OF PIN FALL

The first match would feature associate of the tag champs, Jose Acosta, teaming with the mysterious Magnificent Red and their opponents would be the formidable duo of Not Bad Chad and up-and-comer from the Premier Academy, Slick Willy. Many thought that Chad and Willy had the advantage in the match due to Red’s lack of in-ring experience, Willy being the biggest man in the match, and Chad’s experience in high stakes tag team matches, but in an almost shocking turn of events, The Magnificent Red was able to roll through when Chad delivered a cross-body from the top rope and Red pinned Chad to advance he and Jose to the next round.

**MATCH #2**
“THE BONE DAWG” BRYCE AKERS & WOLFMAN HUCK DEF. JOSE ACOSTA & THE MAGNIFICENT RED BY WAY OF PIN FALL

With one team out of their way, Jose and Red were confident in their ability to go all the way, but their next opponents turned out to be tough competition indeed as speed combined with size in the form of “The Bone Dawg” Bryce Akers and the three hundred and ten pound Alaskan wild man, Wolfman Huck. As Bryce dealt with Jose, The Magnificent Red was left to contend with the three hundred plus pounder and found himself on the receiving end of a splash from the big man, turning him into a red pancake and enabling Huck to pick up the win for his team.

**MATCH #3**
PPW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION “THE SYMBOL OF EXCELLENCE” MATT VINE & “THE PRINCE OF PRO WRESTLING” TJ STEEL DEF. “THE BONE DAWG” BRYCE AKERS & WOLFMAN HUCK BY WAY OF SUBMISSION

While Bryce and Huck had made short work of their previous opponents, they would not be able to get through the next round without a fight, because in their way now stood the duo of “The Prince of Pro Wrestling” TJ Steel and the five-time PPW World Heavyweight Champion, “The Symbol of Excellence” Matt Vine. While Huck’s size and Bryce’s agility did not leave Matt and TJ without a challenge either, the prince and the champion utilized distraction tactics against the referee in order to gain an unfair advantage by giving themselves opportunities to initiate double teams on their opponents. Eventually, Bryce was ejected from the ring, leaving Huck on his own against Matt and TJ. With Huck down on the mat, TJ and “Vineacus” each took a leg and locked in a two-man Boston crab on the three hundred and ten pounder and their combined torque on Huck’s knees and back forced the big man to tap out and leaving them to believe they had earned the opportunity to challenge for the tag team titles, but their celebration would be short-lived.

**MATCH #4**
“MR. ELECTRICITY” CHASE GOSLING & ANAKIN DEF. PPW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION “THE SYMBOL OF EXCELLENCE” MATT VINE & “THE PRINCE OF PRO WRESTLING” TJ STEEL BY WAY OF PIN FALL

On the day prior to the taping, it had been revealed via PPW’s social media that a special announcement would be made regarding the number one contenders match at #PPW239. The announcement turned out to be that a fifth team had been entered into the match. Because of their status as former champions which enabled them to enter the contest the day before, the fifth and final team turned out to be none other than Anakin and Chase Gosling, much to the chagrin of Matt and TJ who now had one more unexpected match to get through if they wanted to go on to face Iniestra and Sem Sei for the Tag Team Championships. Because of the events that had transpired at the conclusion of their number one contenders match earlier in the evening, many wondered whether or not Chase and Anakin could still perform as a team to seize victory, but Chase and Anakin wiped away any doubts by working in tandem and, in an impressive display of teamwork, rolling up both Matt and TJ to score a pin on both men. Chase and Anakin have now secured their opportunity at the PPW World Tag Team Championships at #PPW240, but that also means that young Anakin will now be tasked with competing in not one, but two two-out-of-three falls main events. Can Anakin overcome the odds or will the burden of a double main event be too much for the young standout to bear? We will find out this Saturday night at #PPW240.
