February 6th Results – Woodstock, IL

– THE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT CONTINUES –

“THE HUMAN VIDEO GAME” SCOTT COLTON DEF. ZERO 1
After coming up short in his tournament match last week, Scott Colton was able to stay in the game with a victory over Zero 1, eliminating Zero 1 from the tournament.

“IRISH” ANDY ANDERSON DEF. ZERO 3
Despite a demoralizing loss via disqualification last week, Andy Anderson was able to utilize his experience and eccentric style to keep his place in the tournament by scoring a win over Zero 3 and eliminating him from the tournament.

“THE WORLD EXCLUSIVE” MATT VINE DEF. INIESTRA
Old rivals tangled again when Matt Vine locked horns with Woodstock’s favorite son, Iniestra. Despite Iniestra’s early momentum, Vine was able to take advantage of Iniestra’s injured ribs and a split second opening allowed Vine to roll Iniestra up and remain undefeated in the tournament. After the match, Matt Vine took the microphone, called Chase Gosling out to the ring, and the two proceeded to gloat about how they will be the last two competitors in the tournament and, instead of facing each other, plan on sharing the title. The display of arrogance prompted Scott Colton to come to ringside where he issued a challenge to Matt Vine for later in the evening which was quickly approved by Premier CEO Randy Ricci.

CHASE GOSLING DEF. “THE URBAN REBELLION” CUTTA CROSBY
With both competitors riding high after picking up wins last week, former tag team partners and tag team champions Chase Gosling and Cutta Crosby wanted to dodge a loss, but it was Chase Gosling who handed Cutta Crosby his first loss in the tournament.

“THE HUMAN VIDEO GAME” SCOTT COLTON DEF. “THE WORLD EXCLUSIVE” MATT VINE
After laying down the challenge earlier in the evening, Scott Colton put his second chance on the line in order to hand Matt Vine his first loss in the tournament. Thanks to an arsenal of high risk offense and his ability to disrupt Vine’s focus, Colton achieved his goal and walked away with both a win and the satisfaction of knowing that Vine can no longer claim undefeated status in pursuit of the PPW World Heavyweight Championship.
