– SINGLES MATCH –
“IRISH” ANDY ANDERSON DEF. ZERO 1 VIA DISQUALIFICATION
Still looking for that all-important first victory, Zero 1 stepped into the ring against the veteran, Andy Anderson. It seemed as though Andy had the match in the bag until Zero 3 stormed the ring and forced the referee to call for a disqualification. Together, the Zeros put a beating on Andy until “The Urban Rebellion” Cutta Crosby entered the fray to even the odds, leading to an impromptu tag team match.
– TAG TEAM MATCH –
“IRISH” ANDY ANDERSON & “THE URBAN REBELLION” CUTTA CROSBY DEF. ZERO 1 & ZERO 3
Despite some early mind games and a divide-and-conquer strategy throughout the match, Zero 1 & Zero 3 made an error in judgment when they angered Andy Anderson & Cutta Crosby and Andy & Cutta would make sure that the Zeros learned a tough lesson. With a well-executed double schoolboy roll-up, Andy & Cutta were able to ground the Zeros and gain the last laugh.
– SINGLES MATCH –
CHASE GOSLING DEF. WILL DA BEAST VIA COUNT OUT
After losing not once but twice in the finals of the PPW World Heavyweight Championship tournament last week, Chase Gosling looked to build some new momentum in his quest to reach the top of Premier Pro Wrestling, but first he would be forced to contend with the 385lb Will Da Beast. Using his impressive size, Will dominated the majority of the matchup until Chase, ever the sly one, managed to put Will on the outside of the ring where, with a plancha over the top rope, he was able to ground the near 400 pounder long enough for Chase to get back into the ring before the count of ten, leading to Will being counted out.
– PPW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP #1 CONTENDERSHIP MATCH –
INIESTRA DEF. “THE WORLD EXCLUSIVE” MATT VINE
Having both fallen in the semifinals of the World Heavyweight Championship tournament last week, Matt Vine and Iniestra fought tooth and nail to see who would have a shot at redemption by claiming the number one contendership. Battling each other into exhaustion, it was anyone’s game until Iniestra utilized his speed and agility to roll Matt Vine up and gain the 1, 2, 3, claiming a victory over his longtime rival and gaining the number one contendership in the process! Things didn’t stop there, however. After the match, a visibly frustrated Vine asked for the microphone and called Iniestra back out to the ring where he extended a hand to Iniestra and congratulated him on “one hell of a match.” Has Matt Vine turned over a new leaf?
– PPW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH –
“THE HUMAN VIDEO GAME” SCOTT COLTON (C) DEF. RONNY METRO
After having his championship victory celebration interrupted by the return of Premier Academy standout and current NXT hopeful, Ronny Metro, last week, Scott Colton put his title on the line for the first time against the boisterous man from Tampa. Despite giving up a significant amount of size and weight to Ronny, Colton proved his claims of being a fighting champion. Ronny — hungry to win gold on his first night back in PPW — unleashed several vicious offensive barrages against the champion, but Colton would not be denied, particularly in his first title defense. Attempting a high risk maneuver of his own, Ronny was met with a well-placed dropkick from Colton, knocking the wind out of him long enough to score Colton the victory and retain his championship!
