– SINGLES MATCH –
“IRISH” ANDY ANDERSON DEF. ZERO 1 VIA DISQUALIFICATION
Even after “bowling a turkey” last week and winning all three of his matches, Andy Anderson was revved up and ready for a fight inside the Premier Studio and he got one from Zero 1 (accompanied by Zero 3). From the onset, the Zeroes employed and old fashioned switch-a-roo on numerous occasions in an attempt to wear Andy down and, for a while, it worked until Andy gained the upper hand. With Zero 1 in a pinning predicament, Zero 3 charged into the ring and broke up the pin, apparently preferring to take a disqualification loss over the embarrassment of seeing his partner lose via pin fall. The two-on-one assault didn’t last long however as Andy fought back with fury and cleared the ring of his two adversaries, gaining the victory and the last laugh.
– SINGLES MATCH –
“THE URBAN REBELLION” CUTTA CROSBY DEF. ZERO 3 VIA DISQUALIFICATION
Tangling with Andy Anderson may not have been the wisest choice for Zero 3, because he was now scheduled to face a fresh Cutta Crosby. Just as they did in the previous matchup, the Zeroes employed a switch tactic, turning the contest into more of a handicap match than a singles match. Sometimes, lighting strikes twice in the same place and, just as it had transpired earlier, the Zeroes decided to take a disqualification loss over the dishonor of a pin fall when Cutta regained the advantage and was poised for victory and the two proceeded to double team the opposition. Thankfully for Cutta, Andy Anderson was watching from the back and immediately entered the fray to even the odds. After clearing the ring of the Zeroes (again), Andy and Cutta decided they were fed up with the Zeroes’ choice of strategy and challenged the two to a tag team match which the Zeroes accepted after a few moments of apprehension.
– TAG TEAM MATCH –
“IRISH” ANDY ANDERSON & “THE URBAN REBELLION” CUTTA CROSBY DEF. ZERO 1 & ZERO 3 VIA PIN FALL
Now finally having someone watching their respective backs, Andy Anderson and Cutta Crosby had evened the odds against the backdoor tactics of Zero 1 and Zero 3 and they made the most of the situation. Now with another man in each corner, the switch tactic of the Zeroes had little effect and, after a failed attempt to throw Cutta and Andy out of the ring, both Zeroes found themselves rolled up as the referee counted the 1, 2, 3 and were handed their third loss of the evening while their opponents relished having finally gained the pin fall victory that the Zeroes had robbed them of in the prior two matches.
– PPW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP NUMBER ONE CONTENDERSHIP MATCH –
INIESTRA DEF. “THE WORLD EXCLUSIVE” MATT VINE VIA COUNT OUT
After trading victories and the number one contendership in previous weeks, Matt Vine and Woodstock’s own Iniestra stepped into the ring across from one another again, hoping to make this one the tie breaker. Going into the match, Matt Vine had everything to lose after seizing the number one contendership from Iniestra last week. Needless to say, this one was intense. The two battled for the better part of half an hour until both found themselves outside of the ring on the floor. Both scrambled to beat the ref’s ten count, but just as it seemed that Vine was about to make it back into the ring, Iniestra was able to seize him by the back of his trunks, pulling him back down to the floor and giving the Premier Planet an eyeful in the process. Iniestra used the opportunity and made it back into the ring just as the referee counted to ten, making him the winner and the new number one contender! However, few could be surprised when Vine chose to not be humble in defeat as he stormed back into the ring and put a beating on Iniestra. Once Vine felt he had made his point, he made his way to the back while Iniestra regained a vertical base and, with payback in mind, demanded that Vine meet him one more time. Premier CEO Randy Ricci came to the ring to address the situation and informed the two that the match would have to wait a week and, per Iniestra’s contract, would have to be for the number one contendership. Each having something to gain, both competitors accepted and the match has been booked for next week!
– PPW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH –
CHASE GOSLING DEF. “THE HUMAN VIDEO GAME” SCOTT COLTON (C) VIA DISQUALIFICATION
It seems as though Chase Gosling has proven himself to be a master of mind games over recent weeks. After losing twice in a row to PPW champion, Scott Colton, Chase ensured himself two rematches by assaulting the champ after Colton was able to pick up the victories, angering Colton to the point of demanding another match with Chase. Determined to not be fooled again, Colton didn’t even wait for the introductions and decided that, this time, he would get the jump on Chase, sliding into the ring and taking an immediate offensive advantage. An all-or-nothing attitude appeared to consume both men and the match went back and forth until both were running on fumes. It was at that point that Chase called for a time out (as if) and Colton pounced on the opportunity. As he was laying a beating on Chase, Colton got caught up in the moment and shoved the referee off of him three times, leading to the match being awarded to Chase, but leaving Colton with the title since a championship cannot change hands under such circumstances. However, it seems that Chase once again lured Colton into a trap and, just as it transpired after their previous matches, Colton demanded to get his hands on Chase again next week. His pleas were answered by the CEO and these two will collide again next Saturday with the title on the line!
