SINGLES MATCH
“EL MERO MERO” INIESTRA DEF. EL MENUDO BY WAY OF PIN FALL

In the opening contest, a newcomer to PPW got his chance to shine when El Menudo went-one-on-one with former World Heavyweight and former Tag Team Champion, Iniestra, but despite a valiant effort from the newcomer, Iniestra’s experience advantage was too much to handle and “El Mero Mero” delivered a sunset powerbomb to crush the newcomer’s hopes of glory in his first outing in Premier Pro Wrestling.

TAG TEAM MATCH
NOT BAD CHAD & “IRISH” ANDY ANDERSON DEF. ZERO 3 & ZERO 4 (W/ “CONNEST” CONNOR CORR) BY WAY OF PIN FALL

With the tag team division in PPW hotter than ever, tandems left and right have been seeking every ounce of momentum in order to get noticed and possibly earn an opportunity at the Tag Team Championships. One such tandem is the one that consists of PPW’s resident party animals, Not Bad Chad and Andy Anderson, who were given the chance to prove themselves worthy of notice when they squared off against two of Connor Corr’s Zeroes, Zero 3 & Zero 4. While the Zeroes, with Connor in their corner, employed switches and illegal tag-ins in order to try and gain an unfair advantage, but while the Zeroes were on the same page, it was clear that Andy and Chad were reading the same sentence and as Chad struggled to roll one of the Zeroes up, Andy delivered a clothesline to take the Zero off his feet and into the pin fall, giving Andy and Chad more than enough reason to get down with the Premier Planet before exiting to the locker room to celebrate their victory.

SINGLES MATCH
SKYE BLUE DEF. “CONNEST” CONNOR CORR BY WAY OF PIN FALL

After being pulled off the apron and losing her match to Connor by way of count out at #PPW224, Skye Blue demanded that Connor meet her in the ring again so the two could settle things once and for all and when Connor dropped his guard after thinking he had pinned Skye thanks to a handful of Skye’s trunks, Skye seized the moment to roll Connor up and score the official pin fall, but Connor, bitter as could be, attacked Skye after the match until he was chased off by Jose Acosta and Chase Gosling who assisted a beaten down Skye to the locker room.

6-MAN TAG TEAM MATCH (WINNING PIN FALL OR SUBMISSION BECOMES #1 CONTENDER)
“THE HUNK WITH THE TREE TRUNKS” CHASE GOSLING AND PPW WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS JOSE ACOSTA & ANAKIN DEF. PPW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION “THE SYMBOL OF EXCELLENCE” MATT VINE, “EL MERO MERO” INESTRA, & SEM SEI BY WAY OF PIN FALL (GOSLING PINS VINE TO BECOME THE NEW #1 CONTENDER)

In the six years PPW has been in business, you would be hard pressed to find two rivalries as intense as the ones that exist between Iniestra & Sem Sei and the PPW World Tag Team Champions, Jose Acosta & Anakin, and the intensely personal rivalry between former three-time PPW Champion, Chase Gosling, and the current five-time champion, Matt Vine. At #PPW225, both of these rivalries took center stage in a six-man tag team match, but victory in the feuds wasn’t the only thing on the line since the man who scored the winning pin fall or submission would also be awarded the number one contendership and would go on to face Matt Vine for the PPW World Heavyweight Championship at #PPW226. With all of the proverbial marbles on the line, all six men, two of them former PPW World Champions, sought that one crucial opening to capitalize on only to come up short, but after nearly forty minutes of grueling competition, the match broke down into chaos until it was just Matt Vine and Chase Gosling in the ring. That was when Matt seized on an opening and rolled Chase up, but Chase managed to power his way out and shift the momentum into a pinning predicament of his own which Matt could not escape from, pinning the champion and earning not only the victory for his team, but earning himself a shot at Matt and the PPW World Heavyweight Championship.

This Saturday night, Chase seeks to become a four-time PPW World Heavyweight Champion and prove once and for all to Matt Vine that he is the top competitor in PPW, but in the midst of his record-breaking fifth reign, it is guaranteed that Matt Vine will do whatever he feels is necessary to keep the title around his waist and continue to earn the attention of the wrestling world. As for the Tag Team Champions, Jose Acosta & Anakin will defend their titles at #PPW226 but their opponents must first be decided in a match between the former champions, Iniestra & Sem Sei, and their opponents, Not Bad Chad & “Irish” Andy Anderson.
