– NON-TITLE MATCH –
“THE FIVE TOOL PLAYER” CHASE GOSLING DEF. “THE WORLD EXCLUSIVE” MATT VINE (C) VIA PIN FALL

Wanting to make a statement after his request for a title match was shot down by Premier CEO Randy Ricci last week, Chase Gosling barely let the announcer get a few words in before coming to the ring and calling the champ, Matt Vine, out. Not dressed to compete due to their match being officially scheduled for later in the evening, Vine still came to the ring to answer Chase’s call. Chase then issued the challenge to Vine for a match right then and there with the stipulation that, if Chase won, he would get a title match with Vine later in the evening. Taking exception to his status as a fighting champion being called into question in front of the Premier Planet, Vine accepted, ring gear or no ring gear. What Vine didn’t know was that a ruse had been orchestrated by Chase and the other members of The Dirty Boys Club, Ronny Metro and Andy Anderson, who crept down to ringside while the match was in progress and, while the referee’s back was turned, tripped Vine as he hit the ropes looking to end Chase then, as Chase covered him for the pin, Ronny and Andy held Vine’s legs, allowing Chase to pin the champ and earn the title match he eagerly sought.

– SINGLES MATCH –
“THE CORNFED COLOSSUS” MICHAEL MACK DEF. “TEXAS” PETE VIA PIN FALL

After both being knocked out of the Challenge Pro Cup Tournament, “Texas” Pete and Michael Mack looked to end 2016 on a high note by picking up a win inside the Premier Studio. Thanks to his superior size and strength, Mack was able to catch Pete in a predicament and deliver a ground-shaking powerslam to pick up the win and walk into the new year with a strong moral victory.

– CHALLENGE PRO CUP TOURNAMENT FINALS –
“THE HUMAN VIDEO GAME” SCOTT COLTON DEF. RONNY METRO VIA PIN FALL

The Challenge Pro Cup Tournament has kept the Premier Planet on the edge of their seats since it began last month and, two nights before the arrival of 2017, a champion would finally be crowned. It came down to a clash between NXT prospect, Ronny Metro, and former PPW World Heavyweight Champion, Scott Colton. Like all previous tournament matches, the finals would be contested under two-out-three-falls rules. As he argued with the referee in the corner, Ronny took the opportunity to execute a low blow on Colton and deliver a famouser for the first fall. Thinking the damage had been done, Ronny let his guard down for a fraction of a second which is all Colton needed to regain the advantage and use his agility to put Ronny on the mat. From the top turnbuckle, Colton delivered a picture perfect 450 splash and picked up the second fall via pin. A month of scratching and clawing came down to one last decisive fall. Catching Ronny off guard, Colton was able to leverage his opponent into a springboard Japanese sunset flip from which he kept Ronny’s shoulders down long enough for the referee to reach the count of three, leaving Ronny in disbelief and making your new Challenge Pro Cup Champion “The Human Video Game” Scott Colton!

– SINGLES MATCH –
“IRISH” ANDY ANDERSON DEF. INIESTRA VIA DISQUALIFICATION

After missing a week of action, Woodstock’s own Iniestra returned to the Premier Studio looking to make a statement against his former mentor, Andy Anderson. Iniestra returned with a fire and it looks as though he may seize the day on numerous occasions, but as he had Andy cornered, Andy shoved him backwards into the referee who called for the bell and ruled the match in Andy’s favor via disqualification.

– PPW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH –
“THE FIVE TOOL PLAYER” CHASE GOSLING VS. “THE WORLD EXCLUSIVE” MATT VINE (C) RULED A NO CONTEST

After having the odds stacked against him in his impromptu match against Chase Gosling at the top of the evening and taking a loss as a result, Matt Vine was doubly determined to leave 2016 behind as the PPW World Heavyweight Champion and to get an eye for an eye on Chase. With each man carrying a strong power game, it became a war of attrition as the two beat each other into exhaustion. As Vine went in for a pin, Ronny Metro appeared at ringside and pulled the referee out as he was counting, giving Ronny the opportunity to enter the match and help Chase beat down Vine. One by one, wrestlers and referees alike entered the fray until all three referees were knocked out on the outside of the ring and pandemonium erupted amongst the roster. Once order had finally been restored, Premier CEO Randy Ricci made the announcement that, at the first taping of 2017, Premier’s signature match, the Armageddon Gauntlet, will return and it will be for the PPW World Heavyweight Championship! Also, on that night, we will witness the return of former PPW World Heavyweight Champion and current NXT hopeful, “The Persian Powerhouse” Milad Akbar!
