SINGLES MATCH –
“SHREDDIN’” CONNOR CORR DEF. LA TARANTULA BY WAY OF PIN FALL
With Skye Blue unable to compete due to a bad case of the flu, Connor Corr was given a new opponent who gave him a run for his money, Premier Academy standout La Tarantula. Having spent the week preparing for Skye, Connor was instead forced to adapt to the style of La Tarantula and, unable to successfully pick up a win through conventional methods, Connor, perhaps in a moment of desperation, put his feet on the ropes out of sight of the referee to steal a victory from an extremely disappointed La Tarantula who, despite the loss, received a well deserved round of applause from the Premier Planet for his efforts.
SINGLES MATCH –
“EL MERO MERO” INIESTRA DEF. ANAKIN BY WAY OF PIN FALL
When their tag team match the week prior descended into chaos, Iniestra, Anakin, Sem Sei, and Matt Vine were placed in two singles matches, the first taking place between Iniestra and Anakin who was coming off a hard fought World Title match against Ronny “Veronica” Metro the week before. Being evenly matched in agility, the two fought for over twenty minutes, each growing more and more frustrated at their inability to pick up the victory and, eventually, the frustration became too much for Iniestra to bear and, with Anakin rolled up in a pinning predicament, grabbed a handful of his opponent’s tights for just enough added leverage to score the win.
SINGLES MATCH –
“THE WORLD EXCLUSIVE” MATT VINE DEF. SEM SEI BY WAY OF PIN FALL
The second match resulting from the double disqualification tag team match the week prior was set against Sem Sei and the former three time PPW World Heavyweight Champion, Matt Vine and, before the bell rang, word was handed down from Premier officials that there would be a shake-up in the match. Instead of the standard thirty minute time limit, the two would be given forty five minutes to vent their grievances toward one another in the ring and vent grievances they did. With so much animosity between them, the two battled until both were utterly exhausted, resulting in a few near double count outs. See Sei was able to briefly regain the advantage and leapt off the top rope to deliver a flying cross-body to Matt, but Matt, being the more experienced of the two, was able to roll through and pin Sem.
SINGLES MATCH –
“THE HUNK WITH THE TREE TRUNKS” CHASE GOSLING” DEF. “IRISH” ANDY ANDERSON BY WAY OF COUNT OUT
After PPW World Champion, Ronny Metro, interfered in his business one week prior, Chase Gosling challenged the champion to a non-title one-on-one match, but as the two stood across the ring from one another, Ronny made the announcement that he would face Chase one-on-one, but only on the condition that Chase first defeat Andy Anderson in a rematch. Willing to do just about anything to get his hands on Ronny, Chase agreed to the terms, but offered a condition of his own. If he could beat Andy again, Andy would then be barred from ringside for the match that followed. Chase had his hands full with Andy who did everything he could to brutalize Chase and save Ronny from having to face the self-proclaimed “original dirty boy.” At one point, both men found themselves outside the ring while the referee began counting them out. As the count drew closer to ten, both were able to get back onto the apron then, at quite literally the last second, Chase was able to fall back into the ring just as the referee reached ten while Andy was still on the apron, leading to the match being awarded to Chase. Due to the development, Andy was forced to return to the locker room and stay there while Chase’s match against Ronny was in progress.
NON-TITLE MATCH –
“THE HUNK WITH THE TREE TRUNKS” CHASE GOSLING DEF. PPW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION RONNY “VERONICA” METRO BY WAY OF DISQUALIFICATION
With Andy Anderson removed from the situation, the odds were evened between Chase and Ronny. Even though the PPW Championship was not at stake, the two fought as if it were and their bitter hatred for one another fueled what proved to be an exciting match that kept the Premier Planet on the edge of their seats. Trying to bring the match to a close, Chase delivered a running leg lariat to Ronny, but as Chase had the champion covered, Andy Anderson ran into the ring to break up the pin, violating the stipulation of the match which forced the referee to call for the bell and award the match to Chase by way of disqualification, but this hardly phased Andy and Ronny who proceeded to deliver a beating to Chase until members of the Premier roster began trying to break them up, but shockingly, with tempers flaring, friends turned against friends and a virtual riot erupted inside the ring until only Anakin, Sem Sei, Iniestra, and Matt Vine were left. The four then engaged in a battle of their own until Premier COO, Randy Ricci, broke it up with the announcement that, due to there being no current number one contender, the four will compete in a four corners match with the number one contendership on the line in one week at #PPW184!
