SINGLES MATCH –
JOSE ACOSTA DEF LEVI BY WAY OF PIN FALL

After participating in the opening round of the 2018 Contendership Challenge at #PPW205, two of the Premier Academy’s top standouts, Levi and Jose Acosta, had an opportunity to again showcase their skills in front of the Premier Planet and they put on an exciting spectacle until Jose seized on an opening and executed a sunset flip on Levi for the 1-2-3. Despite the loss, however, Levi showed great humility by shaking Jose’s hand in the ring to congratulate him on a hard fought win.

SINGLES MATCH –
CONNOR CORR VS. SKYE BLUE ENDS IN A DOUBLE DISQUALIFICATION

After weeks of winning her way through Zeroes 1 through 4, Skye Blue was finally given the match she has been after since #PPW200 when she stepped into the ring with long-time rival, the self-proclaimed “feminist,” Connor Corr, but there would be no clear-cut winner, because as Skye had Connor locked in a submission hold, Connor spun around, causing Skye’s foot to collide with the referee’s head, leading to him calling for a double disqualification which was a disappointment to Skye, but was perhaps Connor’s saving grace since he was spared from the embarrassment of being forced to tap out to PPW’s leading lady.

GRUDGE MATCH –
“THE HUNK WITH THE TREE TRUNKS” CHASE GOSLING DEF. SEM SEI BY WAY OF PIN FALL

When Sem Sei caused him to be eliminated from the Contendership Challenge the week prior, Chase Gosling was out for revenge. With Iniestra off vacationing in Mexico, Sem had no one in his corner and would be forced to rely on his skill and wits to combat his bigger and embittered opponent, but Sem did hold his own against Chase and the two battled until the thirty minute time limit was nearly expired. With just a few minutes left at their disposal, Chase used his ample upper body strength to hoist Sem onto his shoulders and delivered a rolling senton, rolling his 250lb frame across Sem’s chest then rolling slightly backwards for the cover which earned Chase the pin and the payback he sought.

SINGLES MATCH –
“NOT BAD” CHAD DEF. “THE SCIENCE” MARCUS SMITH BY WAY OF DISQUALIFICATION

When “Not Bad” Chad eliminated him from the Contendership Challenge the week prior by throwing him over the top rope, “The Science” Marcus Smith brought what he referred to as the “Science of Wrestling Rulebook.” Citing an old rule dating back to the 1930’s, which states that any competitor who throws his or her opponent over the top rope should be disqualified, Marcus demanded that the rule be applied to his rematch against Chad, apparently believing it would remove the only advantage Chad had over him at #PPW205. Chad, however, would teach Marcus the price of underestimating one’s opponent until Zero 5 snuck down to ringside and got involved in the match, attacking Chad and forcing the referee to award the match to Chad by way of disqualification. As Zero 5 and Marcus double-teamed Chad in the ring, Andy Anderson ran in for the save and chased off Zero 5 and Marcus. This lead to Premier COO, Randy Ricci, making a tag team match between the four men to take place immediately following intermission.

TAG TEAM MATCH –
“THE SCIENCE” MARCUS SMITH & ZERO 5 VS. “NOT BAD” CHAD & “IRISH” ANDY ANDERSON THROWN OUT DUE TO OUTSIDE INTERFERENCE

Facing a now fired up “Not Bad” Chad and the eccentric veteran, Andy Anderson, Marcus Smith and Zero 5 had to formulate a strategy that would keep Chad isolated from Andy and keep him out of the match. Playing on Andy’s short temper, Zero 5 and Marcus used taunts and underhanded tactics to get Andy to enter the ring, forcing the referee to become distracted with trying to get him back onto the apron in his corner which gave Marcus and Zero 5 time to double team Chad on numerous occasions, but they couldn’t keep Andy out of the match forever and once he became the legal man he began a warpath through Marcus and Zero 5, but Connor Corr would end up crashing the party by running into the ring and attacking Andy. However, not far behind Connor was Skye Blue who stormed the ring with a folding chair and chased off Connor, Marcus, and Zero 5. Seeing an opportunity, Randy Ricci announced that there will be a six person tag team match this Saturday night at #PPW207 between the teams of Marcus Smith, Zero 5, and Connor Corr and “Not Bad” Chad, Andy Anderson, and Skye Blue!

PPW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH –
“THE WORLD EXCLUSIVE” MATT VINE (C) DEF. ANAKIN BY WAY OF PIN FALL

Back in action after missing several weeks due to injury, Anakin earned his place in the main event for #PPW206 by being the last man standing in the Contendership Challenge at #PPW205. Earlier in the week, Anakin made it clear that, while he had nothing but respect for the champion, Matt Vine, friendship and respect would take a backseat to his goal of becoming the youngest PPW Champion in history. Despite his disadvantages in size, strength, and experience, Anakin made things very difficult for the champion, staying alive and kicking out of every pin fall Matt attempted and showing that heart and desire have no limit when it comes to age and leaving the champion running out of ways to put him down. However, Matt Vine is no stranger when it comes to fighting his way out of a tough situation. Utilizing his power advantage, Matt put a halt to Anakin’s dreams with a vicious powerslam which was enough to finally knock the last gasp out of the challenger and keep Matt’s record-setting fourth title reign alive. Before celebrating his victory, however, Matt took the time to publicly acknowledge Anakin’s efforts and raised the young hotshot’s hand in a display of well-deserved respect, not just for Anakin’s efforts, but also for a match that, by the very words of the Premier Planet, was “awesome.” Anakin is not out of the title hunt yet, however, because this coming Saturday at #PPW207, he gets another chance to get back into the main event picture when he takes on his friend and partner, Chase Gosling, in a number one contenders match!
