TAG TEAM MATCH
“IRISH” ANDY ANDERSON & NOT BAD CHAD DEF. KIM CHEE & ZERO 3 BY WAY OF SUBMISSION

Kicking off our 219th studio taping was a tag team match with international flavor when Kim Chee from deepest, darkest Africa teamed with Zero 3 from Japan to take on PPW’s resident party animals, Andy Anderson and Not Bad Chad. Having been taken under Andy’s wing, Not Bad Chad has become a formidable competitor and that, coupled with Andy’s experience and eccentric wrestling style, made the two a foe their opponents could not conquer. Finding themselves in the ring with both Kim Chee and Zero 3 at the same time, Chad lock in a half crab submission on Zero 3 while Andy utilized a claw on the head of Kim Chee, squeezing his temples and putting Kim Chee in an unenviable amount of pain. While Kim Chee and Zero 3 fought it off for as long as they could, eventually their collective will gave out and the two tapped out simultaneously to the holds, giving Andy and Chad all the reason they needed to get down with the Premier Planet.

MIXED TAG TEAM MATCH
SKYE BLUE & ZERO 1 DEF. LINA DE’ORO & “CONNEST” CONNOR CORR BY WAY OF PIN FALL

When the self-proclaimed sportsman and feminist, Connor Corr, assisted Lina De’Oro in defeating Skye Blue at #PPW218, Premier officials decided they would level the playing field and placed Connor in a mixed tag team match with Lina as his partner and together they took on the team of Skye Blue and Zero 1 who has found a new sense of American patriotism ever since separating himself from Connor’s influence. While Connor and Lina did employ several shady tactics in order to gain an edge, Skye and Zero 1 proved to be a formidable combination who had each other’s back and their ability to work together despite their bitter past paid off in the end. As Skye was attempting to execute a sunset flip on Lina, Connor held on to Lina’s hands from the apron, preventing her from falling backwards into the pin, but Zero 1 was in the right place at the right time and a dropkick sent Connor tumbling from the apron. Without her partner to anchor her, Lina lost her balance and fell backward into the pin and could not escape before the referee counted to three, bringing Skye and Zero 1 a well-deserved victory and a measure of payback against Connor and Lina.

SINGLES MATCH
SEM SEI DEF. JOSE ACOSTA BY WAY OF PIN FALL

Citing biased officiating when Jose Acosta served as the guest referee in his tag team match with Iniestra at #PPW218, Sem Sei was out to teach the man he and Iniestra have dubbed a traitor a lesson in why the “brown people,” as they’ve termed it, reign supreme in PPW. Jose came ready to teach Sem a lesson of his own, but Sem did not come to the ring alone. In his corner was Iniestra, meaning the odds would now be out of Jose’s favor and while Jose put up an impressive fight, the numbers game proved too much for him. As Jose had Sem set up for a superplex from the top rope, Iniestra grabbed hold of Sem’s leg, anchoring him and preventing Jose from executing the move. This bought Sem the time he needed to fight out and deliver and sunset powerbomb from the top rope which was all he needed to pin Jose and pick up a victory thanks to an assist from “El Mero Mero.”
After the match, Anakin entered the ring and attempted to convince the referee to reverse the decision based on Iniestra’s involvement. The referee’s decision stood, but Anakin has issued a challenge to Iniestra and Sem for a tag team match against him and Jose this coming Saturday at #PPW220.

SINGLES MATCH
ANAKIN DEF. “THE SCIENCE” MARCUS SMITH BY WAY OF PIN FALL

Wanting to prove to everyone that his lose at #PPW218 was nothing more than a fluke, “The Science” Marcus Smith stepped into the ring for the rematch he had demanded after his loss the week prior. However, his opponent and the man he had attacked after their match at #PPW218, Anakin, was out for retribution and wanted to prove to everyone that he could make lightning strike twice. Despite Marcus’s significant experience advantage, it seems he severely underestimated the fighting spirit of his opponent. As Marcus charged at Anakin in the corner, Anakin ducked out of the way, sending Marcus crashing into the ring post and that was when Anakin made his move. As Marcus stumbled backwards, reeling after his unpleasant meeting with the ring post, Anakin rolled him up with a schoolboy and proved that his victory the week prior had not been the fluke that Marcus had been so vocally proclaiming, leaving PPW’s resident jokester in a pool of his own humiliation in the middle of the ring.

PPW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
“THE WORLD EXCLUSIVE” MATT VINE VS. “THE HUNK WITH THE TREE TRUNKS” CHASE GOSLING (C) THROWN OUT DUE TO OUTSIDE INTERFERENCE

In the world of professional wrestling, friendship often takes a backseat to professional ambition. Such was the case in the first of two main event championship matches when the PPW World Tag Team Champions went head-to-head for the top prize in the company, the PPW World Heavyweight Championship. Despite their bond both in and out of the ring, “The World Exclusive” Matt Vine and reigning champion, “The Hunk with the Tree Trunks” Chase Gosling, put their personal feelings aside and set their sights on the summit with Chase’s aim being to retain the title and Matt’s being to become the first ever five-time champion in PPW history. Despite being tag team partners, no quarter was given as the two clashed over the gold, but as the match seemed to be nearing a climax, Iniestra and Sem Sei stormed the ring and initiated a beatdown on Chase and Matt, leaving the referee no choice but to throw the match out due to outside interference. However, it seemed that Iniestra and Sem had not picked their spot as well as they had hoped and they were quickly chased out of the ring by a very angry champion and challenger who demanded that their defense of the World Tag Team Championships commence immediately.

PPW WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
“EL MERO MERO” INIESTRA & SEM SEI DEF. “THE WORLD EXCLUSIVE” MATT VINE & “THE HUNK WITH THE TREE TRUNKS” CHASE GOSLING BY WAY OF PIN FALL

Having been robbed of the opportunity to prove who truly is the better wrestler in PPW, the World Tag Team Champions, Matt Vine and Chase Gosling, now set their sights firmly on the two men who had cost them that opportunity, Iniestra and Sem Sei. Knowing they now had two very large bullseyes on their backs, Iniestra and Sem pulled everything out of their playbook to try and keep the edge in the match, even successfully isolating Chase from Matt for a significant period of time, but it seemed like no matter what they did, Chase would not stay down and Chase was finally able to open a window of opportunity to get to his cover and tag in his partner, but as Chase was mere inches away from a tag, Matt suddenly dropped off of the apron, offered up a crude gesture to his partner, and walked back through the curtain to the locker room, leaving Chase and the Premier Planet in utter shock and disbelief. With Matt Vine now out of the picture, Iniestra and Sem capitalized on the beaten down Chase and delivered a double team cutter to the champion. With Chase stunned, both men covered the champion as the referee counted the 1-2-3 and awarded them the World Tag Team Championships.

After a shocking turn of events at #PPW219 that saw a savage betrayal lead to the crowning of brand new World Tag Team Champions, #PPW220 this coming Saturday night is already shaping up to be a can’t miss taping. Due to his belief that Lina De’Oro was not the legal person in the match when she was pinned by Skye Blue, Connor Corr has challenged Skye to a one-on-one match this Saturday. Also, Anakin and Jose Acosta will receive their tag team match, but now that their opponents, Iniestra and Sem Sei have been crowned the new World Tag Team Champions, the match will now be for the titles, raising the stakes even higher in this ongoing feud and, speaking of titles, Chase Gosling is out for revenge after being betrayed by his now former tag team partner, Matt Vine, when he puts his PPW World Heavyweight Championship on the line against Matt this Saturday night.
