SINGLES MATCH
NOT BAD CHAD DEF. KIM CHEE BY WAY OF PIN FALL

#PPW223 kicked off with a one-on-one match between one of Premier Pro Wrestling’s fastest rising stars, Not Bad Chad, and an ever crafty opponent in Kim Chee. Kim Chee, however, was unable to subdue Chad who delivered an Alabama slam to the man from deepest, darkest Africa to gain a pin fall victory.

TRIPLE THREAT MATCH
SKYE BLUE DEF. ZERO 2 AND ZERO 4 BY WAY OF OVER-THE-TOP-ROPE ELIMINATION

When Connor Corr interfered in her triple threat match and prevented her from getting back in the ring before being counted out at #PPW222, Skye Blue was granted a rematch against the Zeroes, only this time count outs would not be a factor and Connor would be barred from ringside to avoid a repeat of the week prior. Also thrown into the mix was a stipulation where tossing an opponent over the top rope and to the floor could earn a participant the victory. Even with Connor removed from the situation, Skye still had quite a feat to accomplish by squaring off against not one, but two of Connor’s Zeroes. However, it seemed throughout the match that the Zeroes could not find a balance between accomplishing their, or rather Connor’s, goal of putting a beating on Skye and their individual ambitions for glory. Skye was able to exploit the rift between her opponents and, capitalizing on the no disqualification stipulation due to the match being a triple threat, Skye delivered a double low blow to both Zeroes and hoisted both over the top rope and to the floor to earn the win and, in doing so, also earned what she was really after which is a one-on-one match against Connor Corr.

SINGLES MATCH
SEM SEI DEF. “IRISH” ANDY ANDERSON BY WAY OF PIN FALL

In a special attraction, former Tag Team Champion, Sem Sei, went one-on-one with the eccentric party animal, “Irish” Andy Anderson who, being a seventeen year in-ring veteran, took Sem to wrestling school so to speak, but Sem, never being one to shy away from taking liberties with the rulebook, was not about to be handed a loss on his way to trying to regain the Tag Team Championships with his partner, Iniestra, later in the evening and, as Andy was in the air about to deliver an Andy-bomb, Sem lifted his knees, catching Andy in the gut. From there, Sem rolled Andy up and, thanks to putting his feet on the ropes out of the referee’s view, stole a win from the veteran and picked up a morale boost on his way into the Tag Team Title match.

SINGLES MATCH
BRYCE AKERS DEF. “CONNEST” CONNOR CORR BY WAY OF PIN FALL

Seeking payback for his loss at #PPW222, the self-proclaimed feminist and sportsman, Connor Corr, got a rematch against the man who had defeated him, the new but quickly rising young star, Bryce Akers. Knowing that his arch rival, Skye Blue, had earned a match against him thanks to her victory earlier in the evening, Connor wanted to use Bryce as an example to Skye of what she could expect, but taking a page out of Connor’s playbook, Skye made turnabout fair play when she entered the inside area, got up on the apron, and distracted Connor which allowed Bryce to sneak up behind Connor and roll him up with a schoolboy to pick up yet another victory and, once again, left Connor stewing in his own embarrassment in the ring.

PPW WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
“EL MERO MERO” INIESTRA & SEM SEI VS. JOSE ACOSTA & ANAKIN (C) ENDS IN A DOUBLE COUNT OUT

Claiming that their loss at #PPW222 had been tainted, former tag champs, Iniestra and Sem Sei, were granted one more opportunity to regain their titles against the reigning champs, Anakin and Jose Acosta. From the onset, the deeply personal rivalry between the two teams was on display as the four men brutalized each other in and out of the ring. Getting lost in the fog of war, all four eventually found themselves outside the ring, one barely making it back in to break the count before taking to the air to take out the other three, causing the referee to restart the count. This happened several times until finally, one high risk offensive maneuver became too much for the four men and none were able to get back into the ring before the count of ten, leading to a the match being ruled a double count out. Because of the ruling, Anakin and Jose were able to keep their titles. It was then, however, that it was announced Jay Bradley would be returning to the Premier Studio at #PPW224. Hearing this, Anakin, who had been brutalized by Bradley the week prior, put out a challenge to the 6’5” Pro Wrestling NOAH star, seeking retribution for having his young career threatened while his family helplessly looked on from ringside. Does Anakin have what it takes to topple Jay Bradley despite giving up one hundred pounds and a foot of height? We will find out this Saturday night.

PPW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
“THE SYMBOL OF EXCELLENCE” MATT VINE (C) DEF. “THE HUNK WITH THE TREE TRUNKS” CHASE GOSLING BY WAY OF PIN FALL

Now a record-breaking five time PPW World Heavyweight Champion, “The Symbol of Excellence” Matt Vine was back on top of the PPW mountain, but the now former champion, Chase Gosling, seemed more driven than ever to prove once and for all that he, not Matt, belonged at the summit, especially since Matt had not defeated Chase to win back the title, but had pinned Jay Bradley during the triple threat main event at #PPW222. As soon as the bell rang, Chase did everything in his power to get inside the head of the champion by rallying the Premier Planet against him, but as the match wore on, Matt seemed to become increasingly more desperate to hold on to the title, taking liberties with the rules, but this only seemed to further motivated Chase. Chase finally seemed ready to put Matt away and end his title reign just one week in, but as Chase was set to deliver a superplex from the top rope, Matt shifted his weight and fell across Chase in a cross-body and the two landed with Matt draped across Chase in a pinning predicament at which point Matt put his feet on the ropes out of the referee’s view and pinned Chase to retain the championship.

His loss to his former partner has not proven to be the end of the road for Chase, however. This Saturday night, Chase will be one of several participants in a battle royal to crown a new number one contender, the winner of which will get a chance to dethrone Matt Vine and claim the PPW World Heavyweight Championship the very same night. Will Chase earn other chance to reclaim the title and get revenge on Matt Vine in the process or will another contender emerge to try his hand against the self-proclaimed “Symbol of Excellence”?
